Users, available under the Setup menu, can be created and managed by level 10 users. The user settings available in the mobile view are the same as those in desktop, just with a different interface.

To create a new user:

  1. Click the Main menu Mobile Main Menu.
  2. Click Setup > Users.
  3. Select the + button in the top right corner.
  4. Fill out the fields as necessary. See our documentation on user settings for full explanations of the available fields.
  5. Click Save.

An existing user's settings can be edited (with the exception of username) by navigating to Setup > Users and selecting the user in question. Remember to click Save when done making changes.

A user can lock themselves out of their account by failing too many log-ins; the number of failed attempts allowed is set in account settings. Locked-out users are marked with a red lock icon. To unlock a user, select them and tap "Unlock."

It's also possible, if external authentication methods aren't being used, to change the user's password by editing their settings. Keep in mind that the new password then needs to be communicated to the user.

User avatars are set via the third-party Gravatar, as long as the email for the Omni CMS user is the same as the one they use for their Gravatar account.
