Occupation Groups for CMS

Occupation Groups are a group of occupations used to display job market information on a page. By default, Pathways comes with over 1,500 Occupation Groups that are grouped by Classification of Instructional Programs codes.

Users with access can also create their own custom Occupation Groups to build a list of occupations they think is more representative of their unique offerings. Build as many custom Occupation Groups as you like, each can have up to 75 occupations.

CreateLink to this section

1. Go to Add-Ons > Pathways > Occupation Groups.
2. Click +New.
3. Name your group.
4. Select the occupations to include in the group from the dropdown.
5. Click Save.

Edit Custom GroupLink to this section

1. Go to Add-Ons > Pathways > Occupation Groups.
2. Click the More Actions menu for the Occupation Group or the Name.
3. Edit or remove the occupations to include in the group from the dropdown.
4. Click Save.

CopyLink to this section

1. Go to Add-Ons > Pathways > Occupation Groups.
2. Click the More Actions menu for the Occupation Groups.
3. Click File > Copy.
4. Rename the group.
5. Edit or remove the occupations to include in the group from the dropdown.
6. Click Save.

DeleteLink to this section

You can delete custom, but not default, Occupation Groups. If a group is in use, remove the Job Market Data from the page before deleting the group.

1. Go to Add-Ons > Pathways > Occupation Groups.
2. Click the More Actions menu for the Occupation Groups.
3. Click File > Delete.
4. Click Delete.
