Manage
Level 10 users see a list of all components in the account in Content > Components. Click a file's More Actions menu to see the component management dropdowns.

Editing a component affects the pages it is placed on.
- Navigate to Content > Components and find the appropriate component.
- Check out the component.
- Click the More Actions menu.
- Click Edit > Form Elements or Edit > Source.

- Navigate to Content > Components and find the appropriate component.
- Check out the component.
- Click More Actions.
- Click Edit > Component Settings.
- Type in the Name or Tags fields.
- To make a component available for use in page layouts, add a tag named "layouts".
- To show content editors how the component will appear on the page, add a thumbnail image.
- Choose to upload a file from your computer or select a copy of a file from the staging server.
- Files copied from the staging server are independent and are not linked to the original file or the staging server.
- Provide a JPG or PNG image at a recommended size of 300px x 300px, with a size limit of 1MB.
- Choose to upload a file from your computer or select a copy of a file from the staging server.
- To limit the component to sites within the account, select a radio button.
- Allow a user group to use the component, click Access.
- Click the dropdown to select.
- Does not affect who can enter information into the component once it is on a page.
- To view component actions, click Log.
- Click Save.
RenameLink to this section
- Navigate to Content > Components and find the appropriate component.
- Click More Actions.
- Click File > Rename.
- Type in the file name field.
- Press Enter to commit your change or Esc to cancel.
A component has no published URL and pages link to it using its component tag, so renaming a component does not affect any other files.
See all pages and sites that a component has been placed onLink to this section
- Navigate to Content > Components and find the appropriate component.
- Click More Actions.
- Click File > View Dependents.
- In the View Dependents box, click the page name to navigate to it.
CopyLink to this section
- Navigate to Content > Components and find the appropriate component.
- Click More Actions.
- Click File > Copy.
- In the Copy box, type in the name field.
- Click Copy.
DisableLink to this section
Disable a component to make it unavailable for use on pages. The component is not removed from pages it is currently on.
- Navigate to Content > Components and find the appropriate component.
- Click More Actions.
- Click File > Disable.
- In the Disable box, click OK.

Enable a disabled component, to make it available to place on pages.
- Navigate to Content > Components and find the appropriate component.
- Click More Actions.
- Click File > Enable.
- In the Enable box, click OK.
DeleteLink to this section
Remove a component from all pages and permanently delete it from Modern Campus CMS, as follows:
- Navigate to Content > Components and find the appropriate component.
- Click More Actions.
- Click File > Delete.
- In the Delete box, click Delete.
Pages affected by a deleted component are listed in the Broken Pages report.
