Review Assets
Preview assets, save and revert versions, and view a log of actions.

Preview an asset from Content > Assets by checking it out and clicking on its name.
For plain text, source code (including comments), and web content assets, preview shows the general properties of the asset and the asset content.
For image gallery assets, preview shows the general properties, the gallery settings, a thumbnail of each image in the gallery with any attached metadata, and the gallery XML.
For form assets, preview shows the general properties, the form settings, a preview of each question in the form, any email messages for the form, and the form XML.

Like pages, assets save a version each time they are published, and you can also save versions manually.
Manually save an asset version, as follows:
- When viewing a checked-out asset, click the More Actions menu in the page actions toolbar.
- Click Save Version.
- In the "Save Version" box, enter a version description.
- Version descriptions help differentiate between versions.
- Click Current State to see a preview of the asset.
- Click Save Version.

- Navigate to Content>Assets.
- Check out an asset.
- Click the asset'sMore Actions menu.
- Click Review> Save Version.
View all versions, as follows:
- Navigate to Content > Assets.
- Check out an asset.
- Click the asset's More Actions menu.
- Click Review > Versions.
or
- When viewing a checked-out asset, click Versions in the page actions toolbar.
View the source code for a version, as follows:
- View the versions of a checked-out asset.
- Click the version'sMore Actionsmenu.
- Click View > Source.
Revert to a previous version, as follows:
- View the versions of a checked-out asset.
- Click the version'sMore Actionsmenu.
- ClickRevert.
- In the "Revert" box, click Revert.
Reverting an asset requires you to publish it before the changes go live on your website.

The log for an asset is similar to the page log. It shows a list of actions performed on the asset, who performed the action, and when.
View the log, as follows:
- Navigate to Content>Assets.
- Check out an asset.
- Click the asset'sMore Actionsmenu.
- Click Review > Log.
or
- When viewing a checked-out asset, click Propertiesin the page actions toolbar.
- From the "Properties" panel, click Log.
