CIP |
Classification of Instructional Programs. A list of educational subjects is maintained separately by both US and Canadian governments to classify educational offerings for statistical and funding purposes. |

NOC |
National Occupational Classification (Canada). The complete list of Canadian occupations used by Statistics Canada. |

SOC |
Standard Occupational Classification (US). The complete list of US occupations used by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. |

Occupation Group |
A group of standard SOC or NOC occupations associated with a CIP code or a custom-defined grouping of occupations. Occupation groups can be associated with one or more certificates or courses. |
